In this message Reuben looks at Joshua’s farewell speech at the end of the book of Joshua.
This speech is full of references to the story of God’s faithfulness to Israel, a story that Joshua wants
Israel to keep forefront in their minds. As we know God’s story and soak ourselves in it,
we let it shape us and it becomes our framework for all of life. But telling the story isn’t enough.
We also need to find ways of connecting ourselves and our families to God’s story practically.
Joshua demonstrates how we can use physical space, traditions and symbols to keep God’s story alive
in our homes and our everyday lives.
